Forest Cabin by Garciagerman Arquitectos

The forest cabin is a comination of hightec building process applied to 16th century building materials in a natural forest reteat onlyan hours drive from Madrid , the Garciagerman Arquitectos creatively combined the old with the new while being respectful of the natural surroundings via sustainable building choices .
The architects approach this tiny cabin from the view point Of low impact  and simplicity of lifestyle ,the finaldesign of the home still maages to present a facade  of contemporary geometric appeal . The simple prefabricated steel entry stairwell powder coated in white is bold modern choice as inthe large voide above it . These two features alone state that while the homeowners respect and nurture the land ,they also want to do so in a stylish and sophisticated manner .
A second stairwell within the homecontinues while steel story ,but here it is less of statement against the white walls and floors of the abode . These expenses of white keep the wood walls from overwhelming the small space .
The kitchen is the simple design of wood counter and blacksplash ,a long and low window and black walls . There is also a woven rug boasting one of the few colour splashes used in the cabin and this saturated hue showcases the home owners fun side .
The bathroom is an unconventional as the kitchen andfeatures a vintage workench for the vanity . The rustic appeal of the bench brings a sence of historic charm to the space but modern convenience is not forgoten when it comes to walkin shower stall .
