HÖST (copenhagen ,Denmark / Norm Architects )

The colaboration between Norm Architects and Danish designers is a unique and rustic addition to the restaurant brand cofo co's nine other restaurants across copenhagen .
The vintage wooden choping boardson walls ,the mis-matching chairs and soft woolen throws in the basement dining room give Höst a surprisingly cosy atmosphere for such minimilistic design.
The black scissor spring hanging lamps designed menu, make a statement Urban against the morerustic setting . The minimal and simplicity so present in Höst give the impression that this not a commercial setting at all , but someones country kitchen in rural Denmark .
The interiors of this space are in perfect balance. The natural and weathered wood , and beautifully simple ,natural colour palette creates a sense of serene stillness ,while the industrial and eye catching lightining adds an urban ,modern touch .
Suspended above the stairs hang a collection ofNorm's small pendant lights that make u pa spiralling chandelier .
Great wooden palette make up the bar , where simple black bar stools are lined up . The theme has been to transform the feeling of eating outside on a minimalist indoor context.
